The Lithuanian Federation of Agricultural Workers’ Trade Unions is a federation of regional trade unions

It was founded in 1990 as a voluntary, autonomous and self-governing organization. It currently unites over 2,000 trade union members in 23 trade unions.

The purpose of the Federation of Regional Trade Unions: to represent and protect the professional, labor, economic, social rights and interests of workers working in the regions by signing agreements with the Government, ministries, employers and their organizations.

The Federation is a member of EFFAT (European Federation of Food, Agriculture and Tourism) and IUF (International Federation of Food, Agriculture, Restaurants and Other Industries). We cooperate with trade unions of Latvia, Estonia, Poland, Moldova, Denmark, Russia, Sweden, Germany and other related trade unions.
